HTML Editors

There are many editors available in the market that you can use to create web pages. Many advanced code editors also exist, they will be automated and greatly simplify the process. However, for learning purposes and to gain some fundamental knowledge we always recommend you to use a simple text editor which is available on almost all PCs and laptops with old and new versions. And if you want some important options available in your editor then we recommend you to use Notepad++ which is a simple and basic code editor with some important and useful options which can improve your enhance your performance. Please proceed with the main steps to create your first webpage using a text editor or notepad

Step 1 - Open the Editor Open any simple text editor or you can use Notepad++ (Please see below guide https://notepad-plus-plus.org/downloads on how to download and install Notepad++ on your computer/system)

Step 2 - Write the code After opening the editor just write the below code in your editor as it is or just copy and paste it into your opened file.

Step 3 - Save the file as HTML Now just press Cntrl+S or select save from options (right click on mouse which opens option) and change file extension .txt to .html

Step 4 - Execute the file in the browser To open the file simply double click on it or open the file using the "Open With" option from your computer. Here is the executed code, which is now displaying as a web page. All the basic things you have written in your code are getting displayed on your display. Congratulations you have executed your first code.
